CTA Anemometers
LPC offers a range of low cost, modern constant temperature anemometers (CTA) for use with most 3rd party hotwire and hot-film probes (Dantec probes , TSI probes, Senflex from Tao System, etc.). The constant temperature method (i.e. constant current) makes them particularly suitable for measurement in liquids or with long cable lengths, where constant voltage methods will introduce additional noise.
Modern surface-mount technology and increasingly accurate and stable circuitry means that you shouldn't have to pay high prices for sensitive measurement equipment. These CTA units are compact and lightweight, enabling them to be installed in wind tunnel models or small spaces.
